Kambo Ceremony

Ceremony Kambo

I will hold a sacred space for you, a sanctuary where you can fully surrender to the healing power of Kambo spirit. Within this space, you are free to release, transform, and align with your highest self, supported by the wisdom of the medicine and the gentle guidance of your own soul’s journey. Together, we will honor the process with reverence, inviting healing, clarity, and renewal to unfold in its divine timing.

Sacred Pathway

• Opening the Sacred Space: The ceremony begins with smudging to cleanse and purify the energy of the space, followed by a grounding body scan meditation. This sets the tone for a sacred, safe, and intentional journey.

• Calling in Support: Setting Intentions and sharing prayers. Welcome the elements and invite guidance and healing energy into the space.

• Introduction to Hapé: An optional opportunity to engage with Hapé, a sacred medicinal tobacco snuff, for grounding and clarity.

• Preparing for Kambo: Small points are gently burned onto the skin, symbolizing the opening of energetic gates to receive the Kambo medicine.

• Receiving the Medicine: The Kambo secretion is carefully applied to the prepared gates.

• Initial Experiences: During the first few minutes, you may feel heat, an elevated heartbeat, discomfort, and nausea as the medicine begins to work and activates within you.

• The Journey Within: Over the next 15–30 minutes, you will enter a deeply inward journey guided by the spirit of Kambo, often accompanied by emotional, physical, and energetic release. This process is supported with music, sound healing, and compassionate guidance.

• Post-Ceremony Integration: After the experience, you may notice a sense of calm, mental clarity, heightened awareness, and physical relief. Some may feel the need for rest or a quiet moment of reflection.

• Kambo Afterglow: In the weeks that follow (1–2 weeks), many participants report feeling lighter, more vibrant, and in harmony. Experiences of greater spiritual connection, emotional resilience, heightened intuition, and a renewed sense of vitality are often described as the “Kambo Glow.”

Preparation Guidelines for Kambo Ceremony

To fully prepare for your Kambo experience and ensure your safety, please read and follow these instructions carefully.

Before the Ceremony
• Meditation and Intention Setting: Reflect on what you would like to heal and set clear intentions for your journey. This mental preparation will deepen your connection to the process.

Dietary Guidelines:
3 Days Before and After: Maintain an organic, clean, plant-based, and unprocessed diet. Avoid sugar, alcohol, recreational drugs, and sexual activity.
Sodium Intake: Do not restrict salt in your diet, as sodium is essential to prevent Hyponatremia.
The Night Before: Stop eating at 8 PM to ensure an 8-hour fast before the ceremony. Avoid overhydrating, drink a normal amount of water.

Fasting and Water Guidelines:
• The morning of the ceremony, do not drink more than a cup of herbal tea (no caffeine).

Understanding Hyponatremia
What It Is: Hyponatremia occurs when sodium levels in the blood drop too low, causing fluid imbalances and swelling in the body’s cells.
Causes: Overhydration, loss of sodium through diuretics, sweating, or diarrhea.
Symptoms: It can affect nerve and muscle function and cause serious health risks.
To Prevent This: Ensure your water intake is balanced, your diet includes sodium, and avoid overhydrating before the ceremony.

Activity and Cleanse Precautions
Avoid These Practices:
Do not fast or water fast for 7 days before or after the ceremony.
Avoid colonics, enemas, sweat lodges, or similar detox practices for 3 days before and after.

Post-Ceremony Integration:
Do not schedule any activities on the day of your ceremony. Allow time to rest, integrate, and process your healing experience.

What to Bring
• Water: Bring 1 gallon of room-temperature spring water. Avoid alkaline or distilled water.
• Comfort Items: Yoga mat, towel, blanket, and pillow.
• Clothing: Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to your skin for receiving the medicine. Bring layers to accommodate temperature changes and a change of clothes.

Additional Offerings

These powerful plant medicines complement Kambo ceremonies beautifully, working synergistically to cleanse the body, sharpen the mind, and open the spirit to healing and transformation.

Sananga

Sananga is a potent healing eye drop derived from the juice of the Amazonian plant known as Mata Heins in the Huni Kuin dialect. Indigenous tribes use Sananga for physical and spiritual healing, particularly to clear “Panemas,” or spiritual blockages. Traditionally, it is applied by indigenous hunters to heighten perception and awareness, enabling them to detect subtle movements in the dense forest.

Sananga works on both physical and energetic levels:
Physical Benefits
• Supports ocular health with antimicrobial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties.
• May assist with conditions like styes, infections, glaucoma, and cataracts.
• Cleanses the corneal layer of the eyes.
Energetic & Spiritual Benefits:
• Decalcifies the pineal gland, enhancing connection to the third eye and promoting higher spiritual insight.
• Clears energetic pathways and balances the body’s energy field.

The Experience
Sananga’s effects are short but intensely transformative. Upon application, an immediate burning and stinging sensation occurs, likened to the feeling of lemon juice or chili in the eyes. This is accompanied by an energetic rush that ripples through the body, indicating its broader impact on one’s energy field.

How to Navigate the Process
• Relaxation and surrender are key to a positive Sananga experience.
• Resist the urge to rub your eyes and instead, breathe deeply and focus on releasing tension.
• With repeated sessions, the experience often shifts from intense discomfort to one of blissful clarity and insight.

Rapé (Hapé)

Rapé (pronounced Hapeh) is a sacred snuff made from finely ground medicinal plants and sacred tobacco (Nicotiana rustica). It has been used for centuries by Amazonian tribes in cleansing and spiritual rituals to clear the mind, center intentions, and realign energetically.

Benefits of Hapé
Mental and Emotional Clarity:
• Sharpens focus and enhances presence, making it an excellent tool for meditation and intention-setting.
• Provides a calming, grounding effect that lasts well beyond the initial experience.
Physical Health:
• Clears sinuses, helping combat colds and respiratory ailments by removing mucus and bacteria.
• Energetic Alignment:
• Cleanses the energy field of stagnant or negative energies.
• Decalcifies the pineal gland, facilitating spiritual insight and alignment.

The Experience
Upon application, Hapé is blown into the nostrils through a ceremonial pipe called a tepi. This process can cause an initial purging sensation, such as sneezing or a release of mucus, as the body clears blockages. The experience then settles into a grounding, peaceful state.
